3 mins: Try for Argentina! Moroni gets it over, but a lot to entangle there.
Early block down by Van der Flier and Argentina get away with it, but then Doris blocks down again. Energetic start by Ireland. Big hit on Crowley by Isgro and Argentina go up the pitch and score. But the TMO will check.

“Was that an aura of arrogance or ignorance around Ireland? Whatever, they need to get real,” is the strong words from Matt Williams about Ireland’s performance last week in his column. He says if Ireland play again like they did against the All Blacks, then the next few weeks will hold a great deal of pain.
“Enter Los Pumas. Despite not having a single professional domestic team below their national side, this year Argentina have defeated France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and the Springboks. That is a staggering achievement. The equivalent is Ireland playing international rugby with only the AIL as a feeder system.”

Gerry Thornley’s match preview. He says the hosts must improve or fall prey to Pumas on a mission.
“A week can be a long time in rugby, and especially in November. Before Ireland’s opening Autumn Nations Series game against the All Blacks, there was almost blase expectations of another November clean sweep. Now, instead, that hope has been dashed and danger looms large over the horizon.”

Some easy listening if you’re on a trip home, to the match or to the pub for tonight’s game. Argentina head coach Felipe Contempomi caught up with old team-mate Gordon D’Arcy and Nathan Johns for the Counter Ruck podcast yesterday. Check it out:
